I’m the most adventurous, snack-loving, and slightly mischievous goat you’ll ever meet. You might be wondering how I ended up with my bonus mom, so let me take you back to the beginning…

It all started on a crisp March night in 2021 when I made my grand entrance into the world at Spring Haven Farm.

My mama, Mercy (a Nigerian Dwarf goat and absolute legend), gave birth to me and my twin sister, Winnie. While Winnie was sweet and dainty, I was… well, let’s just say I had big plans from the start.

That’s when my bonus mom showed up and gave me my name — Scout. Pretty fitting, right?

From that moment on, she became my favorite human (don’t tell the others). She quickly learned that I love apples, carrots, and pumpkin, and that I absolutely cannot resist sneaking out of my pen for a little adventure. One minute, I’m hanging out with my goat pals, and the next, I’m trotting off to visit the pigs, the horses, or anyone else who might have a treat (or not… I’ll take my chances).

My bonus mom says I keep her on her toes, but I say life’s just more fun when you’re on the go! That’s why she started writing books about me—because with all my muddy misadventures, snack-fueled journeys, and curious explorations, I’ve given her plenty of stories to tell. Now, kids everywhere can join in on my adventures, from my daring escapes to my wild quests for the perfect treat.
